WARDOGS Driver guide: XP, levels and unlocks
How the Driver class plays, how it levels up, everything it unlocks and the XP each level takes. Driver goes from level 0 to 100; level 20 alone takes 250,000 XP.
How Driver plays
Moves the team. The Control Zone is 2 km across and the map far bigger, so a driver who drops a full squad at the zone saves everyone the walk, and keeps the bases holding it supplied.
Starting out: At the start of a match, look for teammates who need a lift, and tell them where you're heading before you set off.
A typical Driver match
- Load up at HQ with passengers, or with supplies for a FOB: dropping supplies off at a FOB pays 750 XP.
- Pick a route away from open roads the enemy is watching, and stop short of the fighting rather than in it.
- Drop your passengers where they have a covered way into the Control Zone. You're paid again if they survive and when they get kills.
- When your team has an APC, drive it into the zone: teammates can spawn on it, and each one pays you.
- Head back to HQ for the next run, or take supplies to a base when nobody needs a lift; the round trip pays too.

Driver tips
- Kills from your vehicle, whether you're driving or on the gun, count toward Driver, not Assault.
- Passengers who survive the drop are worth more than a fast, risky one.
- When nobody needs a lift, do a supply run: 750 XP a drop-off, and it keeps your team's FOB stocked.
- Getting the APC into the zone gives your team somewhere to spawn, and pays you for each teammate who does.
- Treat the vehicle as the team's: plan the way back, so it's there for the next run.
Your first Driver match
- Aim for: Deliver a squad safely and bring the vehicle back for the next trip.
- Avoid: Driving straight into the fight with no thought for how your passengers get out alive.
